Andromeda Events ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This policy applies to personal information collected through:

• our website, andromedaevents.com.au;

• our Linktree page;

• sign-ups collected in person at our events;

• the mailing lists of Intuitive Medium Fiona and Aqua Tofana, where you have opted in to hear from Andromeda Events; and

• any other interactions you have with Andromeda Events (e.g. email, social media, ticketing).

This policy is issued by Fiona Kay and Danny Nercessian, trading together as Andromeda Events.

1. What personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact details — name, email address, and (if provided) phone number, when you join our mailing list via our website, Linktree, or an in-person sign-up at an event, or when you use our website's "Get in touch" contact form (which may include a contact number and message).

• Event and ticketing information — details relating to ticket purchases, which are processed by our ticketing partner, Humanitix (see "Third parties" below).

• Preferences and feedback — any information you choose to share with us, such as dietary requirements, accessibility needs, or feedback about an event.

• Technical information — our website is currently a free, simple site that does not use cookies or analytics tools. If this changes in future, we will update this policy accordingly.

We do not collect sensitive information (such as health information) unless you voluntarily provide it to us (for example, disclosing a dietary or accessibility requirement), and we will only use it for the purpose you provided it.

2. How we collect personal information

We collect personal information:

• directly from you, when you sign up to our mailing list on our website or via Linktree, or use our website's "Get in touch" contact form;

• directly from you, when you provide your details at one of our events (e.g. via a sign-up sheet or digital form);

• from the mailing lists of Intuitive Medium Fiona and Aqua Tofana, where you have separately opted in and consented to receive communications from Andromeda Events;

• from our ticketing partner, Humanitix, when you purchase a ticket to one of our events.

3. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information

We collect and use your personal information to:

• send you updates, newsletters and marketing about upcoming Andromeda Events events (with your consent, in accordance with the Spam Act 2003);

• manage event registration, entry and communications with ticket holders;

• respond to enquiries and provide customer service;

• improve our events and website; and

• comply with our legal obligations.

Marketing emails: Every marketing email we send will include a clear and functioning unsubscribe link. You can opt out of our mailing list at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" or contacting us directly (see Section 8). We will not send you marketing emails without your consent.

4. Third parties we may share information with

We may disclose your personal information to trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business, including:

• Humanitix (ticketing and event registration) — Humanitix has its own privacy policy governing how it handles ticket purchaser information.

• [Website host/builder, e.g. VentraIP / Wix] — used to host our website and any sign-up forms.

At this stage, we do not use a third-party email marketing platform. Mailing list details are recorded and managed manually in a private spreadsheet, accessible only to Andromeda Events' founders.

• Social media and link-management platforms, such as Instagram and Linktree, where you choose to interact with us via those channels.

Some of these providers may store or process data on servers located overseas (for example, in the United States). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in a manner consistent with the APPs.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Mailing list and contact details are currently stored electronically in a private, access-controlled spreadsheet maintained by the Andromeda Events founders. Where details are collected on paper at events, they are transferred to this electronic record and the paper originals are securely destroyed within 7 days. If we move to a dedicated email marketing platform in future, we will update this policy accordingly.

6. Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 8. We will respond to your request within a reasonable period.
